What template do I use for the patient with lots of complaints?

The best way is to focus on the patient's main complaint. Choose a template based on the main reason the patient has come to see the doctor. (This might also help the patient focus his/her complaints a little better.) If there are truly multiple complaints (CAD, CPOD, DJD, CHF, AODM, etc.), use an Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or General template.

What if I want to keep some of my current forms?

No problem! This is your template system. You should use it in the way that best suits your clinic and your style. If you have other forms that you would prefer, of course you are free to use them.

What if the partners in my practice don't want to switch?

Records123 is new. The concept of using templates for medical records isn't new, but the fully developed family practice version in Records123 is. With all new things there is usually some healthy skepticism. The “inertia” of medical practice continuing on the way it has been going is also hard to overcome. If some of your partners initially don't want to purchase Records123, I would suggest that you purchase and, in a few months, they will all want to join!

How soon can I receive my Records123 Template System?

Usually about 7 - 10 workings days. The racks are drop-shipped from a supplier, and the customized templates, instructions, manual, and notebook are shipped from our office in Irving, Texas.

My own “system” has worked for years. Why should I purchase?

Your system is probably quite good. No doubt it is working, but is it as good as it could be? Is it generating all the income that you should be receiving? Is it as efficient as it should be? These are the operative questions and the magnetic reasons doctors have been using Records123.

Is the Records123 Template System acceptable to HCFA and insurance companies?

Yes! This kind of documentation has been used for more than five years in emergency departments all over the country. Templates are not only acceptable to insurance companies, but often even preferable for their legibility, consistency and completeness.

Does Records123 Template System meet all the Medicare requirements?

Yes. The E/M coding requirements must be followed to qualify for designated levels of care, but Records123 is a documentation tool allowing you to do this better than any other system.

Is there a Records123 Template System for other specialties?

Not currently, but Internal Medicine and also Pediatrics are new template versions in the planning stage.

Sounds good, but is it too good to be true? What's the catch? Is there any reason I shouldn't purchase Records123?

Records123 is a “real deal”. It is better than any other documentation system currently available. It is in use in many doctors' offices and is helping them handle their documentation quicker, easier, and more efficiently.
